What is Web development?
Web Development also known as Website Development is the task involved in building and maintaining a website for the world wide web(that is, the internet) and for a private network(that is, an intranet). Web development also refers to the non-design aspects of building websites(for example, writing markups and coding).
Who is a Web developer?
A Web Developer creates and maintains a website. He or She ensures that the website is visually appealing and easy to navigate.
Types of Web Development
There are three types of Web Development which include;
- Front-End Web Development.
- Back-End Web Development.
- Full-Stack Web Development.
Front-End Web Development is that aspect of Web Development that deals with creating a website through the use of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for users to see and interact with it.
Back-End Web Development is that aspect of Web Development that deals with producing and maintaining the code that connects a website to a server with the use of programming languages that include PHP, MySQL, JAVA, and Python.
Full-Stack Web Development deals with all parts of a website's development. It covers both Front-End Web Development and Back-End Web Development. It also deals with Blockchain which is used to enhance a website's business capabilities.
